Hi, I’m Sandra Mitchell, the owner of Kingfisher Cakes. I love to create cakes that are unique and personal to each of my clients. I have a passion for making beautiful centrepieces for your event, be it a wedding, birthday, christening, anniversary or any occasion which requires a stunning and tasty centrepiece.
Cakes are baked from scratch in my five star rated kitchen using only the finest ingredients to ensure each cake tastes every bit as good as it looks. Each order is bespoke meaning it is unique to you. My ultimate aim is for you to receive a cake that exceeds all your expectations.
I am proud to say that I am an award winning designer, having won Best in Show at Cake International with my very first competition entry. My cakes have featured in Glamour Magazine, The Sunday Times Magazine and I have been commissioned by Mulberry to make cake versions of their iconic handbags on several occasions.
Complementing my cake designs is my passion for teaching others to acquire the skills and confidence to create their own masterpieces. In my airy purpose built studio, I host a range of classes designed to suit all abilities. I can cater for personal one-to-one tuition as well as small intimate groups.
